A good place to spend the day if your flight is in the evening. Displays are mostly in Japanese, however. A sit down restaurant is on the 4th floor with typical Japanese fare. Had good views of landing aircraft while we were there. Buses bring you right to the museum from the airport, but poorly documented in English. Best to check at the airport information counter for details.

A good place to take 1-2hrs if you pass by Narita airport. Hope the information in the museum can be more sufficient in detail for those who really have interest about aviation. Plus, the facility in the museum can be continuously renovated .

Lots of history in the aviation industry of Japan also paying homage to the beginnings of aviation and the first aeroplanes to be built. Lots to learn, it would be great if more of the content was explained in English, otherwise the fundamental info was in English, I wanted to learn more from the other displays and interractive ones that were mostly in Japanese. Great souvenirs too

Great place if you love aircraft. Especially great for children. A real learning center. Great for adults too.

Actually quite a good day out for kids especially if the weather is good.

Questions & Answers

Reservation is required for hands-on experience areas such as simulators, but it is highly recommended. Please make a reservation to take Nos. 1 and 2 on the DC8 simulator. You can become a pilot. Is the restaurant on the 5th floor? It is in. Meals are provided at the same level as the family restaurant, but I prefer to chew onigiri while watching the airplane outside.

Because it is open until 17 o'clock, it is whether or not seen the last minute in December.

B737MAX is 1000 yen for about 5 minutes for landing only.

You can only go by bus. You can go to the front of the museum using "JR bus kanto" or "Narita Kukou Koutsu". From Terminal 2, there is a bus from the 28C or 28A bus stop. http://www.aeromuseum.or.jp/bus.htm

Adult 500 yen Student 300 yen ? Discount with JAF membership card ?

I don't enter because I think the gate is closed.

You can do it at the reception on the day. Is there a free space because there is only a limited number of people? Please ask

On weekends and holidays, everything is crowded. That's because we do events. If you go around the event time frame, you will find it somewhat empty.

I think it's a holiday.
